WHAT TO EXPECT
You'll be picked up to go to San Isidro where you can visit a local market offering a wide variety of fruits, vegetables, meat cuts and fish. After that, head to the restaurant and participate in a pisco sour demo class. You'll also learn how to prepare an original Peruvian ceviche. Then you'll enjoy a tasty lunch and return to your hotel.

In the afternoon, get ready to explore Lima's old town, a Unesco World Heritage Site. Start the tour with the Casa Aliaga, a 1535 colonial mansion. This is the only house of the period that still belongs to the same family. Continue with a tour of the colonial centre with the Plaza de Armas, where you can appreciate the architecture of the Spanish Empire. There you'll find its magnificent Cathedral, built in the 16th century. The tour ends at the Larco Museum which contains an impressive collection of pre-Columbian pieces of gold, silver, looms and erotic art. After this visit, you'll return to your hotel.
