What to expect
This tour takes you through a glacial valley encircled by snow-capped peaks until you reach your first stop at Garibaldi Pass - the only road traverses the Fuegian Andes range. From this elevated vantage point in the Andes Range, you can admire the beauty of Lake Escondido, a hidden gem nestled at the bottom of the valley.
As you approach the northern end of Lake Escondido, you'll leave the paved road behind and continue along a series of old paths carved out by a sawmill in the forest. These paths, impassable for conventional vehicles, lead you towards Lake Fagnano, Argentina's fifth-largest lake.
In the forest near the Fagnano coast, you'll have some free time to explore and soak up the surroundings while your guide prepares a hearty meal. This feast can be enjoyed in an exclusive refuge situated in a natural environment, offering a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of modern life.
